Amble's Machinery and Hardware

Ran across this place in Minneapolis on Craigslist while looking for corrugated sheet metal and it looks like a place you would drive by a million times and never look twice, but there are lots of 'treasures' inside from metals to hardware to antiques.  Thought some of you might find this interesting:

http://www.amblesmachinery.com/

Welcome to Amble's Machinery and Hardware

                             NEW HOURS

OPEN    MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY  8:00 TO 4:30

10% TO 25% REDUCTION ON MOST ITEMS

           PRICE REDUCTION ON OVERSTOCK

                    ITEMS  OF 10 FOR MORE

If you are looking for a  unique store with over 15,000  sq. foot indoors and 20,000 sq. foot outdoors to browse you've found the right place.....Amble's is the handyman and maintenance man’s paradise!!

Amble's has been located at 2109 Cedar Ave. S. Minneapolis, Minnesota 55404, just 200 feet south of the Franklin Avenue light rail station for the last 36 years. Our inventory is extensive.  That hard to find item that the big box stores don't carry is sitting on one of our shelves or in one of our bins. You can buy things by the piece by the handful by the pound or by truckload.  We sell steel, sheet metal, stainless, copper, brass, aluminum and will cut to size or fabricate to order.

MILLION DOLLAR IDEA! Ok just a way to drive around and covet/lust over things you want or need. Hardware store cruise/poker run

There are some places around the city that have a reputation for some of their cool stuff and whatnots.
