Rosemount reporting in with 10-12" so far... Have blown the snow twice now and it's still snowing!  I think the further south you go, the worse it is.

Only a couple inches up here in Cambridge thus far. Hard to be more specific with it blowing around so much. It can stay south as far as I'm concerned! biggrin

Left for work about 6:10 P.M.
The snow was even with the bottom of door on my Ford Ranger work truck

18 mile drive took 45 minutes..7 cars and 2 trucks in ditch.1 lane only on 494 west all the way from Woodbury to 35E..

Now I just need to make it back home early tomorrow morning

We had 1" when we left at 1:00pm to go to Lino Lakes. My Dad had 1/2" when we got there and maybe 3/4" when we left at 4:30. Got to White Bear and all he!! broke loose and drove the rest of the way to Stillwater in a white out !!! We had 5" here. I hooked up the plow and was clearing the 2 driveways and road  and it was snowing so hard that there was another inch were I started at the shop after only 45 minutes. Parked the truck in the shop with the plow on it and will clean it out in the morning. The wife just had the dog out for the last time tonight and thinks there is close to 10" here now. This reminds me too much of the December dumping...no

Made it home..

494 from Aorport Terminal 1 to the Wakota bride is severely washboarded... Woodbury and Maplewood have not plowed any side streets..

Id also like to thank the Geniuses at Ford for putting traction control on the 4 cylinder 5 speed, 2wd Ranger..
Yes! Lets take the last vestige of power away from an already slug-like vehicle with no ground clearance.
Im sure my neighbors loved my 7 attempts at getting up my driveway at 2am..

mine is way down at the bottom. It's pretty accurate now I can see with daylight. There was a giant hole in the system that was parked over us almost the whole race yesterday, then another later.

Just over a foot here in Eagan with some drifting. No plowing done yet; cars stuck in the street what a mess. I'm sure glad I have such a short commute.  Kitchen for coffee then out to the garage, might go out to the end of the driveway to get the newspaper.

I remember back in the day, driving my 68 Camaro in this stuff; it was terrible.

John H how's the weather in Texas this morning?

If you need to be out there on the roads, be careful.

Kevin, You all have my sympathy!! A little fog over the ocean should burn off by about 10:00. Windy and 70* today. Careful going out for that paper.

 I will be careful Joh.

Angie just came in from shoveling, she said it is surprisingly heavy and has a layer of ice on top of it. I think she's going to have a cup of coffee warm up then go out and finish.  She will get the paper I'm sure.

Jon you be careful as well, those fish hooks are sharp and remember always wear your life jacket.  Send pixs of the fish.

Jon, check PM's

I was starting to enjoy all of the snow melting and now mother nature decided to give us more snow again. Like some sort of sick joke she is playing.

We have the same amount of snow that Bryan reports.

Tony, You shouldn't have to go to work, no pests can survive in that weather!

Tony, Nice pics! A few more inches and you would've had to climb out the window.

Just finished blowing out the driveway at 5:30 and I would say we have 8-10". It is still snowing here so we get another inch or two before it's done.

We got 15 or so overnight and a few more today. Some nice drifts over 2 ft across the yard/driveway. Took the day off since no plow would venture this way til noon or so, and got the driveway passable. Then, of course, a cable broke on the snowblower...so it's not as well done as it could be. Got the new part and need to get it R and R'd before the next snow on Friday or whatever. Ugh.
