Got back from Mexico yesterday and came home to a LOT less snow.  I can see my entire roof again!

We had a great vacation with the toughest decisions of the day being how late do we sleep in, how long do we hang out at the pool, which restaurant to eat at (5 on the resort), and how much to drink!  biggrin

Now it sounds like we're in for 6-10" of snow by Mon. a.m.  At least I think we've turned the corner and what we do get will hopefully melt soon!

Sorry you had to go back Stan. We are still in Texas and the weather has turned the corner. About 70 every day and sunny. Every day is a decision, walk the beach, go fishing or wild boar hunting. I hate making decisions. Let me know when the white stuff goes away and I'll come back, still work to do on thecar before summer..

We had THE NICEST weather while you were gone, Stan.  Maybe if you jump back on a plane tonight and get the heck out of Dodge, the snow will leave too.....wink

We will be in TX over Spring break.  Been watching the weather there too and it had been quite cold. Looks like it's gonna be nice from now on.

Already have my trip for next year planned, and almost paid for already. Another cruise. This time we're on the Freedom of the Seas, very back of the ship w/balcony and top floor of those. Passenger side if it were a car, Port side for those who understand ships. http://www.cruiselinerooms.com/room_list.php?ship=25

This ship is longer than a (current) NHRA drag race at 1,112 feet long, weighs 154,407 gross tons, and is 183.4' tall. It floats in 28' of water and carries 4375 passengers. There's 13 bars, and more than enough room to not feel crowded.

To put that into perspective, the USS Ronald Reagan Air Craft Carrier is 30 feet shorter in length (same for all nimits class).

Thanx for bringing back the crappy weather Stan! JK Glad you had a good time and welcome back.

Bryan:  Holy Hanna! That's a big boat. How many people can fit on that thing anyway?

Just to clarify. Port is left side or drivers side. Starboard is right or passenger side.

Mitch, if you get extra time in Corpus, come out to Mustang Island and we'll show you around.

We'll keep that open as we get our "list" of things to see there made up. So far I can only remember the aquarium and the USS Lex for sure.
