Thanks! I think seminars like that are a real good example of the car related things we do as a club, the other side is the social part, and having both in one spot is why this is such a success every year.

Thas too to Mitch for hauling out his interior for the trade, and Mike for what I got from you as well. I'm, now a lot farther along just by having 90% of what I need on hand, the rest involves warmer weather and time.

Thanks again Karl from Shannan and I.
I'm glad we could help each other out Bryan. You helped me free up some space and you got some parts you wanted. It's nice to see orphans I've nurtured for years find a nice home! smile

I agree with all. I had a great time, caught up with people and learned some more about body panel aligning.

Thanks Karl, food was great and the door/ fender alignment 101 was very informative. Thanks for taking the time to put this on and share some of your autobody knowledge with us.

I posted thanks in the other thread but it may go un-noticed. Thanks Karl for another Bow-tie Brunch. What a great time it was again this year. I learned a lot from both yourself with aligning panels and dent repair and body tools from Eric.

I hope Eric is feeling better. He was getting progressively more ill over the course of the night. Not long after his demo finished up. But he hung in there with us and chilled out at the end of the night.

Thanks for the Thanks!

Remember, Eric Elkin drove here from Kansas City to do the Metal Finishing demo.

Eric is one of our founding members and a really nice guy. Those of you who took the time to participate in his demo were involved in a once in a lifetime opportunity.

What he was teaching, just isn't available any more. This was a rare deal!

Eric is a true "student of metal"

I had a great time, and thank those that pitched in to help make this a quality Event!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we have to figure out something new for next yeat!

Karl

I didn't sit throught he whole thing, but I popped in several times to overhear and you're right, there isn't many metal workers like that around. He got into the science of it and how to fix it, you have to first determine the angle it was created and work it out.

Next year. You guys that had to leave earlier in the day or leave early should really consider clearing an entire days schedule when this meeting comes up every year. You really do miss out on quite a lot. The free advice and demos are top notch and are well worth sticking around for.
