The Libertarian party is often the only help people get when issues like this arise.. They have done tons of work in the eminent domain area.. I think this would dovetail right into that.

If that were me, I'd just keep on doing what I'm doing... put up some "NO TRESPASSING" signs, and close the garage door when working on friends cars. If anyone asks why I'm putting a friend's car in my garage, it's to protect it from UV rays. If someone comes snooping onto my property to see if there's any work being done, call the police and have them charged with trespassing.

Want to prove I'm working on a car that doesn't belong to me? Get a warrant.

I'd also make a LOT more noise. :D

Don't forget the retards that decide a residential neighborhood is their own playground. I had one of those for awhile, 4 wheelers, no exhaust, etc, well into the night. Common sense should prevail, but then again you are talking about a governmnet entitiy.

We had neighbors that set up a practice-track for their kid that raced motocross right across the street from my house in an empty lot that they owned. It wasn't bad until they switched from 2-cycle to 4-stroke... that 4-stroke shook the windows in our house. It didn't last long before enough people complained that the town created an ordinance. I didn't mind too much... the kid sucked, so it provided some good entertainment watching him crash a lot, especially when he knew someone was watching, and started to show-off. biggrin
