I ended up selling my El Camino on Tuesday. It has a new home in Hugo. I gave him business cards for the club.
Now to get ordering lots of 57 parts. Rear end arrived Monday. Trying to get qoutes on 6 speed now.

Congrats on the sale, hope you got what you wanted for it... Good luck on the '57 build, and don't be a stranger.

Brad, congrats and thanks for taking the 'selling guy' spotlight off of me!  biggrin

Hopefully you got what you wanted out of it.  It had to be a hard thing to do since you brought it back from the dead into a total restoration.

There seems to be the Fall 'buy it before winter' kind of thing going on now with a few car guys.

It was not easy for me to sell since I had so much time in it and many years of ownership. All I had was the small sticker for sale signs yet in wing window and thats what sold it. Guy really wanted it. Wrote me a check for the full amount on spot to hold it.  Never even drove or rode in it until after he paid for it two days later.
It was one of those deals if I cant get want I want for it, it was not going to get sold.

Not sure of I will get another Chevelle or El Camino?

I plan on trying to stay in touch with the club and trying to come to some meetings if they are on a weekend. My frame on my 57 has a bent front horn. Easy fix. Maybe could be a club deal at Karls? If there is a Jan meeting there that is? I have all the factory dimensions
