I wanted to take some time right after I got home to say hello, and thank you for visiting with us, possibly even joining on the spot. As you may have seen, we aren't a rowdy bunch. We're all just regular people with families and other commitments. We understand when other things take priority. What I do ask of you is that when you can, please participate. Our forums here are always open, feel free to ask questions or comments. I also want to say that there is no status level in our club. Every member and their car is equally important. My car is not shiny, in fact the interior is downright ratty. The condition of your car or level of completeness has nothing to do with who you are as a person. Sometimes that's the best part about having an old car-the planning and building stage. We like driving too-some go fast in a straight line, some would rather carve corners, and some just like to count the miles.
Thanks again for stopping by-we'll see you again soon enough

Yeah, I was out from about 10:15-2:30 handing out cards and taking pics, than again Sunday for a couple hours looking at vendors (and a little lack thereof for calendar advertisers) I went out again with Derek for a while looking for food too (never found it-I wanted one of those blooming onion things I had seen). Too bad we missed each other, always nice to see other people you know.
