So... who's going to be a member of the VERY early morning (0330 - 0400) line up?

Since I've been nominated as grubmaster and will be serving up some roadside chow again this year I'll need a count so I can get some groceries.

I can be there early Saturday... I assume I'll get there the same time as John D if the offer of the guest bedroom still stands. :)

Rick, I look forward to seeing you there! It's been a while...

Derek, PM sent.

I'll need to dig into my "camp-chow" recipes.... something rib-stickin' but easy (on the cleanup and equipment).

so you're saying leave at bar closing and then sleep on the streets off COMO near Snelling? Next thing you know, RIck has a tin soup can set out with a "Will work for gas money" sign.

I think his thread has gone way over the line! Putting Rick's name and the word "work" in the same sentance is just too much to bear! no Not makeing it again this year. Only 4 AM I ever see is on the end of a day, not the start!9391
Have fun Guys

Man that brought back memories!  I think I even had a pair of 'official' Rat Patrol goggles when I was a kid (yeah I know they are geeky but we thought they were cool...).

Funny how the actor playing the German officer's real name is Hans.  biggrin

A few year back I had worked overnight and had to drive home 18 miles on partially plowed roads after an all night blizzard.. Every cross-street was plowed one lane which left berms that I had to build up speed to jump.Or get stuck..
I Hat to Rat patrol all of them to get home.. imslow.gif

Great day today.. started early with breakfast while waiting in line... then had fun watching Derek autocross and visiting with some old friends and neighbors.. A little rain dampened things at the very end.. But It saved my from trying the launch box..

Looks like @ 7am tomorrow we'll meet up for breakfast at the spot.

Great day. I saw about 200 Chevelles, most who weren't in the club got cards and a photo. Check out the You've been spotted section for pics. Might not be tonight, though.

I lnow i'm late getting this on here. But we've had pc problems. But On fri night. Tom's SS & I. Met up in St Micheal at the gas station around midnight. Then Tom bought some gas. To make sure that big block would have enough to make it down there & back. We parked on Como around 12:25 am. Talked to the guy in the Vette. Thats always there 1st. I was 2nd in line then Tom's SS. About an hr later Roy & John showed up. After a while I told Tom. Time for a nap. I crawled into the back seat and got a few winks. Then I smelled FOOD. So we walked down to the Chuck wagon. Thanks JD. Good food & coffee. Talked to John & Derek & Tony & Brad 4 a while. then headed back to wake you the others. Man it  was a HOT sob this weekend. But I had fun B/sing with all of you. Missed a few. Like Tim H and that guy from Iowa :) .   Walked around with Stan & kevin for what seemed like 3 hrs. In that heat. Damn it was hot. Most likely was my last car Craft with the Chevelle. When we move to Az. It won't be making the trip back here with us. Too much $$$ to go back and forth. Ok got things to do. Talk more later...........j

Its always cool to hang out with car guys and club members in the middle of the night well before the sun begins to come out. Thats one of the best parts of the weekend.
