Anyone going to the B250s? Any 64 and older car is accepted.

I plan on going Sunday morning, hitting the swap meet first. I wasn't going to go since it would be just me and my older daughter at home, but I mentioned it and she said she wanted to go. I said normally I go early, but we didn't have to and she asked how early we can go. I said I normally get there a little before the swap opens at @ 6:30-6:45. She said she wanted to get up early and go. (?????) She's a 9 year old girl, but she's always been a little more into the cars and adrenaline stuff. I made sure to say I wouldn't be buying any toys for her there, but we would stop by all the buildings for vendor stuff and just hang out and rest too.

Should be fun.

I plan on going all 3 (4 counting Thursday) days. I registered my truck even though it doesn't run because it's cheaper to get it that way.

Be sure to take umbrella! The last show I went to it rained on the way home. I ended up with 2nd place in the El Camino class though, so it had some reward

I'm going afterwork Friday and I'll be there all three days. Taking my 53 Bel-Air. Forecast calls for sun all three days with rain late Sunday, so it should be a great weekend.

Carmen & I got to the fair gounds and were inside by 8 am. Got a bite to eat. Then started to walk. Oh boy did we walk! But we had a blast. Got to see so much. We covered a lot of ground. Saw a few guys I knew. Ian called me. And had me laughing my azz off. He's one crazy guy. After buying a few things. We hit Porky's for onion rings. Which are the best in the country. The headed back to Maple Grove for dinner with our daughters. Then home by 8pm and into our recliners. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzyawn

Im glad I put sun block on this weekend. Yesterday wasnt so bad but today was a bit warm in the sun. I got there both days around 9am. Ran into Brad on saturday and walked around with him for the rest of the day and we ran into Ian towards the end of the day. So me and Ian met up this morning for the swap meet.

Very supprising was a nice 69 Camaro Z/28 clone project that the guy was asking 4K for. Body wasnt the worst shape but it needed help. Had the houndstooth interor with console/buckets. 4 grand was giving it away IMO and it still hadnt sold when me and Ian left the swap at 11ish.

I didnt see too many great show specials this year as far as parts goes. But I did pick up a neat little paint rolling tool for doing old school pin stripes. He was selling them at over 100 dollars off list in the grandstand. Also picked up a set of polished smooth BBC valve covers that Billet Specialties had on thier clearance table for 80 dollars instead of 180. It has a very small blemish in the finish.

I really wanted to pick up some Dynomat but the one dealer I talked to wanted 175 dollars for a 36 sq. ft box. Too expensive for me. Ive seen much better deals on Ebay.

My son Tony and I went Sunday morning spent most of the time at the swap meet.

I found a 1968 SS Chevelle black in very decent shape so I paid $10 for it and drove it home. They wanted $12 for it but after negoitating I gave them the cash and it was mine. The doors and hood open real nice with great lines. Chrome is almost flawless. It's a 396 4 speed. It is missing the glass out of the drivers and passengers doors but the rest is all there. No cracks in the glass. Man it is nice. Really doesn't need anything.

I got home and my grandson liked it so well I gave it to him. He is now pushing it around the living room floor along with his 68 Camaro.

Yes it is a toy car from the collector's series and I did put it in my Suburban and drove it home.
