NCC 2008 Flashback...A Decade Ago!

I was looking for my folder on the current '71 Malibu for some info, and found the folder from the white '71 I had in 2008 that contained a couple of club newsletters from a decade ago that we used to get in the mail!  oldscool

That particular Chevelle was featured in a couple of the newsletters (it was sold to Justin Morneau of Twins fame and shipped to Arizona, but I have no idea if he still has it), so thought I'd share with those that haven't been around the club that long.

It's fun to see that some things are the same, and some have changed. The Silver Mullet car was featured along with Scott P.'s wagon (hard to believe it was 10 years ago that you had the wagon Scott), and Bryan's '72 with the white painted top before it became a pro touring car!

This may bring back some memories for those old timers in the club, and some may not be the best of times, but it is a part of the history of the club.  Not trying to dredge up old wounds, just reminiscing that it's hard to believe the club will celebrate 17 years in 2019.

Enjoy.

That was back when I was doing the newsletter & took those photos as well. I had to hunt for them but I found them on another drive...

Thanks Chris R.  I think I've got some on an external hard drive as well, but glad you found these.  That was a pretty darn solid car, and my first auto to 4 speed swap I ever did, so learned a lot.  I think Dashboard and Gearlube left some fingerprints on it too. beers
