Because our Gubmint makes it D*mn-Near-Impossible for a "conscientious/want to do it correctly/I really want to live here - even if I'm married 3-years to a US National" person to wade through the endless "perfectly I-dotted, T-crossed, submitted in Triplicate" flippin' paperwork..angrybanghead

It's friggin' easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission! laughing

(I actually had to put a label on our mailbox yesterday, stating that Domenico Polo (my SIL) can receive mail at my address - in response to a Gubmint form-letter stating that "Official Mailings may be rejected/not delivered" if his name is not "authorized" by the legal owner of the address...)rules

Just an example:

My daughter's reply to the latest form-letter/email...

To whom it may concern at the USCIS LockBox,

I received the email below on February 15th, 2017 stating that the I-130 package that my husband and I submitted had been accepted and routed to the Potomac Service Center to be processed. It was also stated that I should receive a I-797 form within 7-10 days. I did not receive it. Online, the website stated that if I did not receive my receipt notice by March 15th (30 days after the original notice), I should call Customer Service.
On March 20th, I called customer service and asked about why I had not received my I-797 form. The woman I talked to could not give me an answer as to why I had not received the notice, only that she would request that it be sent again.
Yesterday, March 23rd, I received the notice attached to this email stating that I should contact this email address to receive the receipt notice.

I am getting quite frustrated with the lack of clarity about my next steps in getting my I-130 package processed. I have waited for 45+ days to hear about this I-797 form that (form my understanding) is supposed to be my next course of action.

Please assist me in providing my with the I-797 form to the following address (which is on file with my original package)
