That's quite a muzzle flash... if you used it for home-defense, even if you missed the guy, at least he'd be temporarily blind so you could beat him with it.laughing

With a cleaned up barrel those old boys are able to hit a 12" target at 1000 YARDS. Yes cleaned and tweeked up a bit that is a long distance shooter as designed way back when. One guy has an old Mosin Nagant set up with muzzle brake on a bipod shooting prairie dogs out west. Ammo is cheap so with a good scope and spotter you can become a long range shooter on the cheap.
