Over helping my step dad reseal his 400 GTO engine. Pulled the crank out to get rid of the rope seal and install a newer two piece rubber seal. Had the heads sent out and all new guides, valves, and hardened seats installed. Replacing all the gaskets and a fresh coat of paint. Hopefully will have it all together by tomorrow.

ya buddy, today I got the 69 out, drove the Vette a little, changed a t stat in my son's car, changed rearend fluid in the Suburban, cleaned the 69 (PIA), worse than cleaning my Harley but then again I only do that when I get caught in the rain. Layout the graphics on the racecar that is going to sit in the car hauler, had someone take the 69 for a test drive. Now I'm going to grill and clean the garage. It sure is nice with the weather like this and my wife gone for 4 days.

Yesterday was so nice the little kid in me came out; even after it got dark I just didn’t want to go inside. Even opened up some space in Derek’s shop by picking up the Mustang; then a 60 mile drive with the windows down and the CD blasting, it was a great day.

Today it’s outside work all day, or until it rains.

Yeah... Got the bathroom floor tile down, then:
Christmas lights off the house, coiled and away
S-blower drained of gas and away
(since I had to move them to put the blower away) mounted the alloys & wides on the Green Mary and put away the winter tires
Changed the oil in the wife's Taurus and gave it a once-over
Wandered over to the neighbor's and shot the breeze and drank some of his beer

Now I'm thinking dinner, shower, and rack out (5am comes around quick).
