I'll have pics up here soon, but I am putting my 58 up for sale. I've listed it here first before hitting the national sites. I've had this car since 1982. It is an original 348 4-barrel car, but now has Tri power. Trans is the original Turboglide automatic. Original upholstery and headliner in good shape. The car is very complete with no missing or damaged parts. It is unmodified, and still has factory drums and 14-inch wheels. It also has skirts, a continental kit, dual rear antennas, dummy spots, and 59 Caddy taillight lenses. There are wide whites on it now with spinner hubcaps. The engine was rebuilt in the 80s but it smokes and needs to be gone through again. It starts and runs fine, so there's nothing major wrong with it. The transmission leaks, as the front pump seal is shot. The 80s era paint job is showing its age. There are a couple patches in the floor, as they didn't have repair panels yet when we did it. Besides the 348 and Turboglide, it has power steering, tinted glass (which is kinda rare, and it's all perfect) and the deluxe heater. It also came with a factory padded dash. It's not perfect but it's a good, complete car that would make a good project as a resto or the basis for a custom. The factory color was tropical turquoise but the car is bright yellow with a white roof now. It's the factory yellow for 58. Send me a note at Wrdsmth495@yahoo.com if you want to take a look soon. I'm going to list it for 20k, but if anyone in the club wants it I will let it go for 15k firm. There is no wiggle room on that. No trades. Cash only.
