Car Craft dilemma

I haven't registered yet for Car Craft, usually don't until the last minute anyway. Now I have a wedding to go to on that saturday afternoon which I can't miss, and also will be an overnight stay there too which takes Sunday car show out of the pic too. I only have one day off left until fall, and I planned on using it for Car Craft Friday.

here's the choices:

1-use the day off, get up and go for friday, go saturday until about noon, be done. Out the registration, miss half the show but have some fun.

2-skip the friday off, use it another time to get the car tuned, save the registration, and go down as a spectator saturday morning.

Go for Friday IMO.

Some CC is better than no CC, and being a spectator when you've got a running car in the garage just plain sucks.

iagree

Friday + half of Saturday means you get to enjoy the best part of the show... by Saturday afternoon the crowds are huge, and Sunday half the cars leave early.

Option 3: Pay the 1 Day fee ($30?) and be there all day Friday.  That gives you all day Sat. to enjoy the family and not make momma upset.

Personally, I like Friday the best because everyone's jazzed up about being there the first day, it's a little more mellow than Sat. with fewer spectators (more car people), and just seems more laid back.  Do I sound old now....?  laughing

I thought I was going to miss Friday when my manager from Ireland said he is coming over that week, but he's a big boy and figured out he can live without me for a day.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards fri and maybe sat morning-roll in @ 8 after the big rush (no early crew since I'll be up late that night too), and then leave @ noon.

Stans idea is probably the best. Registering for an entire weekend isnt cheap and since your going to miss most of it, register for the one day pass and if you need to get your fix on Saturday, you can go in as a spectator. Even though a single day pass is kind of expensive for what is essentially, a single day and a half car show, I guess you have to way the value vs. the cost in that case.
