Sandblasting exhaust manifolds
Permalink

It seems when you start what seems to be a simple project, it just keeps snowballing. Started to replace my front inner fenders. Now amongst other things, I have a need to sandblast my exhaust manifolds and paint them. Can anyone recommend a shop that does sandblasting of such items? Being it is not the best time of year to have my Chevelle in the cars apart club, it would great to have a fast turn around time. Thanks.

Talk to a local powdercoating shop. They may either do it, or know of a shop in town that does small jobs.

I have them do all my Muncie cases. They do excellent work in my opinion. They also have different media to choose from.

Found Larry Hanson Sandblasting in Watertown. Good work, reasonable price. Dave, I did coat them with Eastwood manifold paint...Look great!

Jeff, I used the Eastwood manifold paint on mine and had good results.  The only issue I had was last Spring I moved the Chevelle to the front garage, and there was a temperature change overnight, so the floor sweated and I had small amounts of flash rust on the manifolds the next morning

I touched them up while on the car this winter, and they are looking great again.  They smoked very little on the first startup.
