DIY front end alignment tools/gauges?

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on do it yourself front end alignment tools?

I see some from EastwoodLongacre,  and Intercomp..

The Eastwood gauge seems pretty straight foreward.. but how do the Intercomp and Longacre digital gauges work? Do they attach to the whell on the outside of the hub or what?

I have the Fastrax setup in the Eastwood link, along with some turntables and a home-built toe-gauge. It works pretty well as long as you take your time.

I had a chance to get a set of those turn plates for free one time and did take advantage of it at the time. I kick myself for not doing that. Thats one of the most handiest things to have when doing this at home.

I think they use a magnet to stick to the hub, which probably won't work with your center-caps. The Fastrax goes on the wheel itself, which works great as long as your wheels are straight.
