Looking to buy water pump and crank pulleys. Will have power steering. This is for my 70 454

may be able to help. I am going over to March setup but do not want to let the others go til march is setup. Will be a couple weeks. The ones I have are chrome. Not sure if issue for you.

Long or short water ,and do you have power steering pump and box yet? I have the stuff if you have long pump. let me know. Parts are one,two years old tops.

I believe it is the short pump but will measure. I have the box and pump but am looking for a box for my 69. Although I believe it doesn't make a difference on the box it is getting a 383 small block

The timing is works but I am going to make it look as stock as possible so I would pass on teh chrome.

Is that the project drawing for your '69 (yes I know the pic is a '70)?

Really off topic. I want to get a t-shirt or two like that. They use to have cool ones cartoon like that, in 70-80s. IRON ons you would get tshirt made at the mall. Think I seen some on the bay.

Assuming nothing has been changed from stock. 1965-1968 big blocks were all short water pump. 1969-up= long water pump.

I looked at alot of sites and it seems there are different opinions on the short verses long on the after 69. I want to get the correct one on it so if someone can chime in I would appreceiate it.

I agree. I'm a Rat Fink Junkie. There are a number of places still to order them on line. I had shirts like that in the 60's and 70's but they all shrunk over time....

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I actually have a long water pump, less then one year old, and all parts/brackets/pulleys/belts for a cmplete power steering set-up including pump and box will sell cheeeeep. let me know.
