Saw Brad there, we hung out for a while.

I met another guy there named Dean. We had met through Facebook, but never in person. Nice guy, he has a really nice looking red/black stripe ElCamino he's owned for close to 30 years. Even has custom floormats. He was already aware of our club, hopefully he'll stop by. He's a very nice guy, mild mannered, would fit in well with us I think.

I also saw a whole bunch of other Chevelles there. I dropped off all the busniess cards I had on me, there was quite a few nice ones, including a pair with Yenko stripes and a couple more yellow ones. When I caught up with Brad, he was sitting and talking with a guy who had just bought a yellow one.

Was nice to get out there, my older girl was with. She was really hot, so we left @ 8.

Well I never made it to Anoka. Had plans on going with my grandson & his dad. But it was just too HOT and Humid for me. Kids were in the pool. My son in law , my son & I were in the house. With some refreshmentsbiggrin. There was no way. I was going out there to sweat!. So i stayed at my Daughter's had ribs , corn on the cob. A few beers. And stayed COOL all day & night. Today looks like a repeat of yesterday. Theres plenty of food left over. And they still have some refreshments :)  . So thats the plan for today. Theres plenty of time to go there again this yr. Missing one or 2 isn't that bad. Hope all of you have a GREAT 4th of July weekend. a
