1700+ miles round-trip without a hiccup. The car performed flawlessly averaging 23.8 mpg on the highway, 75mph cruise speed. The only downside was the Indiana roads... ARRRGGG - nasty.
Side-story:
About 3 months ago I was contacted by FFR's PR person Nicole Smith (FFR President Dave Smith's daughter). She asked if I had any High-Res copies of some pictures she saw on my FB posts. I did, and sent them to her. A few weeks ago I get a package from FFR and there's a T-shirt, some decals, and the 2025 FFR catalog. Guess whose car is a full-page overlay in the MkIV Roadster section!!
Enter the London Show. We arrive at the hotel (where nearly everyone stays, and is the "official" base-camp for the host Ohio Cobra Club), and I'm approached by Jeff Kleiner - the guy who did body & paint on my car. He has been charged with selecting a few cars (out of the 150+ in the lot) to be parked at the Factory Five display. I guess Dave saw my car in the promo materials and said he wanted it at the trailer!
Anyhow... I was blown away. For my car to be selected as one of five "customer builds" on display at the trailer was an honor.
Nice! Glad you had a great trip and I can attest to how much fun it is to ride in it!
Congrats on showing at the trailer!

As said, congratulations on being chosen for front and center, but then with the attention to build quality and the super cool paint scheme, why wouldn't it be........
It's that "perfectionist" attention to detail that has made the car reliable for an adventure like this too...
This turned out to be a fantastic trip!
