We can do that up here sometime, Jim, but not for the next 7 days. We leave at 5:30 am to fly to Sedona for 6 days.
I have some heat adsorbing compound to put on the outside to protect the chrome from discoloring.

I attempted the JB Weld process. Says to wait 6 hrs, so will installed the VC tomorrow. Do you know if the spark plug holders and other tabs were first chromed? My first attempt about 15 years ago lasted until yesterday. So I just got through with attempting the JB Weld again. Thanks for the offer, maybe in the future.
I need to re-attach the stand to the VC. I Tried the J.B. Came off today. Is there a better method?
