This code keeps popping up. then check engine light disappears for a while. Then light comes back on. What do I do?
it says there is an imbalance in the #1 bank. Is there something simple to do? Looking at a video online it looks like there could be several causes. I don’t feel comfortable with checking any of them. NAPA GUY SAID To CLEAN THE INJECTORS FIRST AND GO FROM THERE.
Can I just throw something in the gas tank? 70000 miles
I've used "sea foam" successfully on some gunked up carbureted stuff. My 4-wheeler seems to need a half-can in the tank once a year.
2017 has direct-injection, so the injectors are like 2000psi going into the combustion chamber directly.
The direct-injected engines are known for getting carbon build-up on the intake valves, since there's no fuel running across them to wash the carbon off.

Techron was always recommended to me by the local Chevy dealer.
