The wider, flat plastic ones with a chisel tip and wedge gap in the center work well for the trim panel edges.
Mitch showed an example of the crank/handle spring clip tool.

Thanks guys, I have the tool for the window crank like Mitch showed. I also have a metal tool like Karl is describing, it works bit not the best For me. I saw a guy removing the clips on a 70 chevelle. With a tool that had kind of a J hook on the end. It went in along the top of the clip, then he slid it down, I was guessing between the cardboard and the metal part of the clip, so it would pull the part out of the door panel as he kind of rotated it.

The first link is for the door panel clip tool... the slot is way too small to push a handle clip out.
I have a set of the plastic tools and won't recommend them...bend too easy and break, but they are Northern or Harbor Freight tools...

The door clip tool needs to go between the clip and door and pry the clip out of the plastic receiver. If you pry the clip out of the cardboard door panel, it rips the panel, exactly what you don't want.

Most every clip remover you’ll ever need. Amazon $22
When I was a teenager, I took a small spring leaf, ground it more tapered, and ground a "V" into it. I still have it even though it has been more than a few years.
This is on a 66 if that makes a difference. I want to keep the clip from tearing through the cardboard of the panel. Thanks
I have a tool very similar to this. Can't find a pic of my antique one...

This one makes removing the door handle and window cranks a 3 second job also.
