1969 C10 from TX. Needed funding to modify the smaller building for an overhead door, insulation and heat for a year round, functioning shop.
Truth be told, I was only going to buy the roller in OK. The basket case was a 10 day auction with a starting price of about 1k with reserve and 8K BIN. It sat at $1,275 for 5 days and slowly crept up to $2,500 the last day and the reserve went away !! I threw a bid of $4,800 on in the last seconds, fully expecting to get out bid. I was shocked when I won it for $2,600. He!! yes, I'll go get it for that. I'll build one of them with my 292 and the 4 speed and sell the other as a driver with the running 6 that's in the project truck and a TH350 I have here.
I will be selling the '54 2 dr sedan now for sure and maybe the '62 Impala SS.
