Trying to find out if this will fit a 350 SB with a 4160 Holley with a 66 winters intake. Not sure how the closed vent tube will line up with the valve cover vent hole, clearance with the hood, or accelerator rod. I also have a 3/8” insulator for the Holley carb.

What is the original application of the air cleaner ? I don't recall a '66 with one. The L79 Nova's had a dual snorkel. Should be the same for fit...Holley carb and winters intake. You will most likely need the matching steel elbow for the valve cover and hose to attach to the base.
1970 Z28 also had a dual snorkel and low hood clearance.

Thanks Mitch. Don't think the 65-67s had the type the Novas had like the chrome one. The Crome ones are sold to fit the 65-67 chevelle and made by TWE. That is the one I would like to use. They fit the 5 1/5 ring on both the Holley and Q-jet. My two main issues are clerance to the hood (don’t know how far the base sits down like the BB holly bases do) and moving the frame arrestor tube to line with my valve covers (It’s been suggested that it is easier to cut the tube, then Aline, and re-weld).

The SS396 repop is the one I was looking at too, very similar to the Nova cleaner.
I think having the recessed base is about as good as it is going to get for clearance.
