Does anyone know of a good place to have a classic car appraised for insurance purposes?

Several years ago a fellow in Ramsey was doing appraisals, not sure if he is still in business or not.

Sorry to say (I've been told) Russ passed away a couple years ago.

He has been doing this for as long as I can remember. His appraisals are accepted by all insurance companies. Since he is retired, he can be pretty flexible about scheduling.

I would be curious to see what they are charging these days for an appraisal if you don't mind sharing once you talk to soem of these guiys.

I finally dealt with the car appraisal. Hooked On Classics in Watertown charged $100. Ellingson Motorcars in Rogers want's $199.
