Does anyone have a front seat set of the black plastic style seat belts they would sell?
My 71 has them in the back seat, but the fronts are the metal ones. I think they are actually the original ones since they look like they were green belts and someone dyed them black.
I'm pretty sure I have some out of a '68 I parted out many years ago.
Do you need the shoulder straps too?

Might be interested in your take-outs.
I don't remember any belts in my '70, as it was pretty well stripped inside when I got it, but we can look Saturday.

I checked the shoulder straps, and they have the large ends, so need the bigger plastic buckle lap belts. So I'm good on the shoulder straps.
Let me know if you locate the lap belts and retractors for the sides.
I think I already have the seat belt hardware from your '68 that I got from you a few years ago for a long lost Chevelle that's already moved on.

Here's a pic of the smaller front buckle in it now that I think are the Deluxe ones?
You can have them and the side retractors once I find replacements.

Yes, that's the style I'm looking for.

I forgot to look for them last night. I'm trying to remember if I still have them... I sold all the original belts out of my '69 to a guy needing correct dated belts for a car built about a week after mine at the same Leeds plant (Roger Day's '69 COPO 427 Dick Harrell car) and I used the '68 belts in the rear of mine with Morris Classic Concepts retractable 3-points in front. If I have anything left, it should be a complete set of black front belts with the big black plastic buckles from a bench seat car.

We used to have our belts rebuilt by SSnake Oyl www.ssnake-oyl.com/ . They also sell replacement and correct belts.

I did find my belts, BUT as soon as I saw them I remembered I was saving them to put in my '55
I'd be willing to do some trading for some other nice condition black GM belts, but I do need some belts. I'm not wanting to put anything newer than 1968 on that car, since I'm doing kind of a "period" race car style build.

No worries Derek.
I've also been considering buying the aftermarket 3 point front seat belts for safety and keeping the passenger from sliding around on the bench seat, so will take another look at them.
The only thing I don't care for on the 3 point ones is they hang down between the front and back seats, which is ugly when both side windows are down, but that's just cosmetic versus function.

Andrews car has them and they also make it a PITB to get in the back seat. I took them down, as I have been spending a LOT of time back there with the trunk floor replacement.

I have the 3 point ones from Morris. I like them when driving, but yes they are a pain to step over when climbing into the back seat. I think there's maybe been 2 times I have had someone riding in the back seat in the past 20 years, so It's pretty much a moot point for me.
