Anyone using a different than factory battery hold down?
I'm putting in new battery cables (mine are just ugly done), and I want to keep my battery disconnect but I will be using a real switch instead of the basic spin-nut to remove setup. I figure while I'm at it, I might as well do a better battery holder of some sort. I currently have the factory tray and wedge setup. Battery will stay under the hood.
My thoughts are to make a top plate that mounts down to the tray front and back, but extend a lip of the top plate to also become a switch mount.
Thoughts, ideas, links to pics you found on the net because I couldn't really find any.
Last resort will be a simple plate/box that extends off the lower mounting wedge bolt but I feel like being more creative than that.
