No, not that knowledgeable and it IS an early build and they did change a number of things as the year progressed.

Positive battery cable. Shouldnt it have more then just a finger guard for the fan? My 66 325HP has its original BB fan shroud. I see this one is missing & only has a finger guard.

Once you are back up and running, you could probably make arrangements to do that. Bill lives just 150 miles down the road from you in Iowa. He, also, has a 1967 Chevelle he bought new and it sounds like a nice survivor 'Vette. Could be a day trip for the club, if he/we were up for it.

Would that be Bill W?. We traded some parts over the years, last time we talked he had a 67 vette, a 66 chevelle, an a few 67 El Caminos and chevelles.

Missed the shut off on the battery. May or may not have shroud. Could be ordered separately. The owner Bill Wente is considered one of two 66-67 experts in the country.

Yes, that's the owner. Jeff Helms would be the "other" guy you are referring to... Mr. Z16, also. He has 3 now.
Absolutely amazing preservation.
