Well the rear blinkers work, brake lights do not? Rear running lights do not work; but front head lights and running lights work. Haven't yet check the rear back-up lights.
All lights worked a couple of weeks ago or even as late as last week.

Got it fixed. Evidently tail lights and brake lights on one circuit. And Blinkers and backup lights on a different circuit. I was thinking the blinkers and brake lights would be on the same circuit as they use the same element, not true in my 66.

Yeah, sometimes it's easy to miss the simple things.
A few weeks ago I tore my dash apart because I couldn't figure out why my dash lights were not working... checked the fuse labelled "gauges" and it tested good, so I started tearing into things. Wasted half a day because those lights are on a different fuse labelled "INST. LPS"

Dash lights are usually on taillight circuit, I think.

I will have to check tonight as they are not very bright. I notice they were not working just last week as it was dark as I was driving, Maybe the tail lights were not working; but just noticed that Sunday.

The only thing common to taillights, backup lights, or brake lights is the metal housing & grounding connection via the bulb socket to body/negative.
Rear Blinkers and Stoplights are on the same circuit/wires, and do share the same filament in the bulb - here's the monkey in the wrench - both circuits go through the turn signal switch (TSS).
Scenarios (only dealing with the rear lamps):
At rest... no brake or signaling - the TSS is connecting the possible + feed from the brake light switch to both the L & R turn/stop wires to the rear of the car.
Braking only... +12v via the brakelight switch is fed into the "common" of the TSS, which routes +12v out to both the L & R turn/stop wires to the rear of the car.
Turn only (Left described, but Right is exactly the same)... a cam in the TSS "opens" the brake light circuit for the Left rear lamp, and "closes/inserts" the turn signal flasher circuit to that wire. +12v via the turn signal flasher circuit is then fed to the rear lamp on the Left. (The Right side's brake light circuit is not affected - it is still connected to the brakelight switch but not "hot".)
Turn & Brake (Left described, but Right is exactly the same)... a cam in the TSS "opens" the brake light circuit for the Left rear lamp, and "closes/inserts" the turn signal flasher circuit to that wire. +12v via the turn signal flasher circuit is then fed to the rear lamp on the Left. The now "hot" brake light feed is sent to the Right rear lamp (Brake Light)

I have all lights working. Plan to hook up a tempagure gauge and a Oil gauge. Just hope I don't screw up. thanks everyone for your comments
