Couldn't help myself - Another Car for collection?

2 months ago, my dad and I came across a deal I couldn't let get by us. My dad and I now own a 1967 Chevelle, 350, TH400. pretty solid car, paint is rough. It had some damage from a building collapse over the winter. My dad and another friend repaired the damage, new trunk lid and pulled dent out of rear quarter and small one in the roof. Looks good for now and very drivable. Drove it home from Fargo yesterday 210 miles, ran great.
had to go through rear end, bad carrier bearing and pinion, in process found donor diff, with 3.08's instead of the 2.73's that were in it. I can post some pic's later but here is a couple teasers. Best part is bought for less than $4k and have about $5k total in as it sits in the pictures.
Very nice! Some guys just have great timing and luck. Nice find.

Nice!
Deals are out there, you just have to be ready when you see them because they don't last long!

Thanks all. It was one of those rare instances where I actually was on the successful end of good timing. Usually I am one call, or minutes late on those deals. I don't think I will bring it to Street Machines, probably just the 69, trying to get some more miles on it before taking to Powercruise with the new motor.

Great looking Chevelle despite of the damages. Reminds me of my uncle's red Chevelle back in the days, I always love to ride on that car. I'll come over this weekend to help him install the brake kit and fuel off-road rims plus headache rack on his current Ram project. I'll see if he still has some picture of the Chevelle.
That is definitely a nice find. Have fun on the mod projects.
