Previous post noted my need to clean and condense. Thus the old light blue Biscayne we started cutting up at a Club meeting is now on the "chopping" block
Will leave in pieces, saving 1/4 panels, seat, door. spindles, tranny crossmember, steering column and clutch linkage.
Diffi will become roller for Basket case car.
Next, pull Basket case differential (4:11) transfer to Biskwik.
Onward and upward.

Actually, he had to have done some major re-arranging just to get that much floor space to work in since the last time I saw that place...
Sorry I couldn't make it down there to help. I'm trying desperately to get the front end of the Camaro done, so I can turn it around again and get back to the rear half sheet metal replacement.
The M21 I just rebuilt and filled, has a hairline crack at the bottom of the tailhousing and my spankin' new gear lube was dripping on the floor... It feels like I'll never get the engine/trans back in it to stay.

I left a message for my tranny guy to see if he had any Muncie parts lounging around. Will putz this weekend on the chopping, cutting. Going to be there for sure this coming Tuesday, probably 10-3 again. Want to get diffi out from under the chop-chop car and relocate it under the "basket" car.
I did pull trigger on soil corrections, allowing for the opportunity to relocate and add containers
My friend Roger may need one too! Karl 4, Roger 1 , Mitch ?
60 feet correction, 10 foot east of building, each container 8' wide, math says 6x8 = 48 feet.
Mmmmm 48 +10 = 58 feet.

I'm thinking I'll pass on a container.
5-6 years ago, I had a good deal on storage but it was a drive to Amery WI. I moved a couple cars closer, but paid more. Now that everything I had stored last year got damaged, I tracked down the owner of the Amery location and will be bringing cars there again. Price is way less than around here, and I PARK THEM, not some clown that damages vehicles.
Thanks for the opportunity to "park" a container there...

Karl, I've been thinking about getting a container or two to stick behind my shop. I haven't done much price shopping yet, but curious where you're getting them from?
I'd be looking at an extra-tall 40' with doors on both ends.

No stock container will have 2 doors. They may be able to modify one, but the price is going to be high. Just a standard container is around 3-3.5k and high cube is about $500-700 more.
Might be about the same to add on a gravel floor storage addition on the back of the current building..
Looks like you are all set but the hauling the bones away for scrap.

Need to chop a little more, then call my scrap guy. Diffi will go under basket case. Need to get it stripped. Everything was kind of stuck. Only saving spindles, manual steering gear and center link. Frame was thin in spots, have a spare already. Went through multiple Sawsall blades and a little torch work. Cowl and 1/4 panels will go in my 68 parts container. Dash top and lower windshield area were really solid and clean. 1/4 panels are rough, but couldn't get myself to scrap them, just add then to my 68 post pile in container.
Building just got a little larger.
Now focus on Biskwik Diffi and part out a 2005 Suburban Z-71
