Anyone had experience with these guys in Princeton or this type of trailer? LINK TO TRAILER
I can find something similar but not as strong and with only 13" tires at Northern Tool, Tractor Supply, etc. for about $400 less, but I don't think they would hold up as long or haul as much as this one.
Main uses will be for landscaping material and the occasional hauling of my ZTR to the shop for service, and who knows...heavy car parts now and then.

Car Hauler is a Featherlite, 17.5 foot open bed. Decent trailer, aluminum, a little fragile, but I like it. Had it 15 years.
My enclosed trailer is an Aluma, 14', tandem axel, ramp style. Well built, could have heavier ramp and deck due to the fact my tool box and engine on stand when moving left creases in floor and deck. Welded frame construction, almost no rivets, anywhere. Still, great unit, very happy with Ace trailer sales in Shakopee, they treated me fairly.
Both name brands with decent resale. Would still buy both trailers again.
If I could spec. out a heavier deck and ramp for the Aluma I would. I didn't think I needed the 14 foot, but it was on a special. Tandem, brakes, 2-5/16 ball. Don't regret the larger size, like anything, I always seem to fill it up.
Whatever brand, buy the largest you can justify and afford.

My experience with the lesser steel model from the box stores is they are too light and it shakes itself apart even with a small load on board. A little heavier construction keeps it on the road and won’t break when you overload it someday. If they scotch lock all the lights together (yes some still do!) WALK AWAY and find another manufacturer.

I echo others comments on aluminum. I went through two steel trailers in short order. Both of mine are now aluminum, older than I can remember and still going strong. Also the bigger the better. Two things to consider are cost and storage space.

I think I found a winner. I stopped by a trailer store near Forest Lake to look at their inventory, and they had just taken in a used 2008 64" x 10' Bear Track on trade and made me a screaming deal. It needs a couple of small weld repairs and I'm going to have them replace the bearings, but for $1000 I couldn't beat it for an aluminum trailer with the new spare, rails, and included jack.
It seems big, but I'll appreciate the length when I go to buy materials for finishing the shop.

Yep, the mower is 54.5" wide and the deck is 65" wide, so 5" or so on either side to play with.
