Now that I live almost in Canada lol, just google mapped the trip to Brainerd and looks like it's only a hair over 2 hours from my house. I don't want to take a car this year, but would rather drive up for the day, hang out with anyone going, and see what the whole experience is all about.

Since I broke it a 2nd time, I'll be thrashing the G8 instead of the Chevelle this weekend.
With the show being run by Australians, the GTO/G8/SS crowd is pretty well-represented at this event, so it's not entirely disappointing to bring the "Holden".

Rumor has it that a few NCC members may show up tomorrow. Stay tuned John D and Derek.

Cool!
Derek and I made our basecamp at the NW corner of the grounds, between the condo's/Wheelie Bar & the end of the grandstands - by the exit of Turn 10, before the 1/4-mile burnout pad.
Loren & Co. are camped at the west end of the "Zoo", near the pond.
Pretty crazy the 1st day. This may be a record attendance year. Lotsa cars on the track.
Date: August 3, 4, 5
Registration is $100 until May 15, then goes up in steps the closer you get.

Who's planning on taking a car to this?
