Now I can't get the lower joint out, what the best way?

I got a removal kit from a friend, stamped China, well it doesn't seem to have the correct adapters. So I made one and it still doesn't work, the part that slips over the top of the post and is suppose to push the joint out, just starts to widen out. Nothing would fit over the ball joint from the bottom and fit in as they were all two long and either to small a diameter or two large a diameter.
Do I need to get a different kit, hate to wack it with a BFH and crank the control arm, not liking the ideal of removing the spring and control arm from the car.

I typically use a hammer, but do you have an air chisel? You can focus the chisel on the ball joint more so it does not stress out the arm as much.
I don't think I have ever used the ball joint press tool to push one out, as you stated it does not really have adapters to fit on the small lip of the joint sticking through the arm.
Might be able to use some plumbing pipe if you can find the right diameter and make your own tool.

I have a set of 1" drive sockets, 1 on the bottom to support the arm and 1 on top just smaller than the ball joint body and smack it a few times. It really shouldn't take a lot of force to remove it. A section of exhaust pipe underneath should work too. In fact with the spindle out of the way and the dust boot removed, you should be able to tap around the top of the joint body with a drift or punch and get it out, with the support underneath...you need the arm held solidly from below.

I think I have a section of pipe I can cut to fit between the floor or I will barrow some 1” sockets to put on. The bottom with support, then another socket on top. How big a hammer, 3 lb.

A 3 lb should drive it out in about 3 seconds. I use a standard ball peen.
Supported the bottom with a piece of pipe, put a socket over the top, smacled top twice and it fell out. The China tool worked fine for the install.
Boot installed with weep hole to the inside. ACD 45D2009 joint, I also had the moog joint; but I kind of liked the AC joint.
i think the boot is installed correctly; but thought it would seat down a little more or is it correct etc according to photo?
