Has anyone manufactured their own harness when adding an ac unit?

Looks like it's kind of costly to buy factory correct harnesses?

It could be done I'm sure, but unless you have all the correct connectors to plug on to everything it would look pretty ugly with a bunch of spade terminals.

$600 to order factory correct engine harness and under dash Harness. Just 3 wires connecting the ac switch and ac relay, a wire to ground from the ac switch which is switched by ignition or a toggle switch, a wire from compressor to horn relay with a fuse. Thats what I get by reading the electrical diagrams in the 66 service manual.

Jim, call Autowire 800-482-9437 have them manufacture just what you need. AC was a separate harness assembly.
