Anyone putting plans together for club parking spots at the fairgrounds for the SMN's in a 3 weeks?
I'm hoping to drive the Malibu up pending the trans/rear gear/posi install.

I will be there Thursday but I am flying in on a redeye flight so I'm not sure what time I will be there. I will have the rope and stuff like last year.
we'll need a couple bodies for sure, spread out over the day.

I'm going to try to be there by noon after a quick nap.
With camping this year, I forsee people trying to grab our space since we're next to the campgrounds. Who else will be helping Thursday? It would be nice to have a couple hands and some relief to pick up credentials.

I'll have an extra participant entry wristband for all weekend if anyone wants it? Tina will be with me, but not going to the SMN's.

I'll be there between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Fri. a.m. with Gear Lube, so two Chevelle's for parking. We're going to the QA1 open house, then cruising in with that group. Please save a couple of spots if there's room. Thanks!

Just so everyone knows, we have the same area as previous years.... Specifically the corner to the tree just past the fire hydrant. Our Ford friends are next to us as usual and the Gen IV F-body/TransAm group is around the corner to the main road as usual. We also have 4 or so spots across from our normal space, it's between the 3 trees, parallel parked. We also have some space along Giggles', from the dumpsters to the end of his wood wall. John Sinna/Brand/Roy will be on and around that corner as usual.
Our space is saved with twine and white 4x4 wood chunks that have Summit Racing stickers on them and yellow pool noodle chunks in between. The 4 parallel spots have orange cones that read Chevelle on them and crime scene tape strung through them.
Thanks to everyone I saw before I left (Mitch, Jon H, Loren and Lisa, Dana), sometimes it's as much of babysitting the area as it is actually putting the stuff out. I saw Chris S in line as I was leaving too, plus several other former members like Justin (Cream colored LS turbo '66 cone killer car) and Steve (had a blue 69 and the silver pro-street from a few years back).

Great to see so many club members at the show today!
I only got one pass on the auto cross course due to the long line, but it was great and I'll be there first thing in the morning.
I'll drop the club water cooler off by our spot before going to the track.

Only had time to run the course once this morning before the meeting. Ran 45 seconds again today but I made all the corners correctly! Maybe tomorrow I can shave a little time off.
It was great to see so many members at the meeting today!
If you watch the video, they have Mike (not sure of his last name) driving is Candy Red '68 Chevelle

It was great seeing everyone again, especially those who aren't able to make some of the other events. We had a couple guys give the autocross a go, and I think they got the bug. Look for good deals on factory suspension stuff soon I'm guessing.... I did put a bug in the ear of people who have some influence regarding having a competitor's trace and a novice track so those who want to give it a try aren't intimidated as well as being able to get more laps in just for the fun of it. If anyone else is interested in watching or participating in autocross, go to http://scca-racing.com/ They are the ones who did the Street Machine Nationals autocross event. Don't get intimidated, everyone starts somewhere.

Just want to say thanks to Bryan for taking charge and getting us set up in our spot. Also thanks to those who came out to help him on Thursday. Everything went smooth other then someone left the oven on on Saturday.
