Ok I have the times finalized. The plan is to meet in the parking lot of the Gander Mountain off of radio drive and Hudson road. There is a Kwik Trip right on that corner to top of fuel before leaving. We are leaving at 8:00 Am sharp which should give us extra time to get there, make fuel stops along the way, and any unforeseen issues. This is happening rain or shine so if it is raining and you do not want to drive the classic please plan to come with your daily driver. I have attached a PDF with all the route maps and the two fuel station stops along the way. Please print it out and bring it with, I will try and make a few copies to have at the event but not enough for everyone. I am also going to send all this info to the Wisconsin club to see if any of them have interest in joining along.
I would also like to get a rough head count on who is coming so please post in the thread. Remember lunch costs are on you, not being provided by the club. If their are any question let me know.
I should have plenty of time to test my "rental" tranny...

Got the Chevelle out of storage Saturday. Changed the oil, topped off the trans and checked the air pressure in the tires. Took it on a 100 mile round trip jaunt to a friends shop in WI.
Everything seemed to be in working order. Hope with a tank of fresh gas and a wash it'll be ready for the cruise!

Well group it appears mother nature is not going to cooperate for the cruise Saturday. Again I want to let everyone know we still plan on going. This shop is in a very unique old building, how they have everything set up and use the space is very interesting. Myself and Chris S stopped in there a month ago and they had some cool projects in the works. The owner is a super nice guy and was very accommodating on doing this for our club. He also has some cool shirts and hats to purchase if interested to support his shop. Hope to see you all Saturday.

I'll be there. Be driving the HHR as the '38 isn't 100% waterproof at the moment after the fuel tank exchange.

Sheryl & I are going to back out on this one...
John Jr. came home from Winona this afternoon for the weekend, the weather's going to be crap, I've got "cabin opener" stuff to prep for... If the weather was nice and could drive Blackie it'd be a different story.

Thanks to all who attended, even though it rained it was still a nice drive and cool to see the hot rod shop. If you took some pictures please don't forget to send them to the webmaster so he can post them.

Thanks to Chris P for putting together yesterday's cruise and shop tour. That cruise would have been fun in the cars but we can't control the weather. I was glad to see so many members come along with their everyday vehicles.
Thanks to Fast Freddie's Hot Rod Shop as well. They were gracious hosts, showed us around the shop and took time to come to lunch with us. For those who could not make the trip they have a large photo gallery on their website of each of the builds they work on.
