I get a hard time for the amount of "extra stuff" I bring along. Never thought of putting one of those in the box though.

I wonder what that means, it plays for me on both the web site and on my iPhone. I didn't mean to take a video, I guess I just had the wrong setting on my phone, here is the photo.
Sounds like some hacker that wants to fix your computer for a fee.

That had to be a mess. Any chance you might have over torqued the bolt on that side in the past to stop a leak?

It had to have a crack for a while as it showed it was cracked part way for sometime due to the discoloration. Maybe the thermostat was not in the correct position when it was tightened down at some point as the neck is some 50 yrs old. Would make for a good advertisement for JB Weld, is suppose it could be welded.

I'll bet you really wanted to spend the next 2 weeks cleaning the slimy glycol off of EVERYTHING!!
Crazy how something just has a catastrophic failure... what started out as a tiny little stress crack 30 years ago finally gave up the ghost.
Fortunately this happened a block from my house. Well I guess my engine bay need a good cleaning.
Oh man that had to make a mess!
