I am planning to upgrade my standard PS Steering Box to a Detroit Speed Engineering 600 Series. I have upgraded the Pump to a Tuff Stuff Power Steering unit. I have upgraded all the steering components and the box is the last unit. I did not want to go to a Rack and pinion system, the only play I have is in the current box. Just wanted to see if there are any suggestions or if someone has installed the DSE 600 Box..Thanks

Our meeting next Saturday is at Lares which is a company that does steering boxes. Hopefully you can make it and maybe get some ideas.

Most guys here have done the jeep grand cherokee steering box swap or had their original box rebuilt with the upgraded internals to make it faster ratio. I don't think anyone has used the DSE setup that I have seen.
As Mike commented if you can make it to the next meeting it might give you some good food for thought on which way to go.

I did kind of a combination of both. I swapped some if the JGC box internals, like the input shaft , worm gear and piston into my original box.
