My new setup needs more carb than my 670 Street Avenger can give it. I have just started nosing around but thought I would check with you guys. My engine guy says to get a double pumper and he will set it up for my automatic car. The jury is still out on that one.

I don't remember what gears you have, but with mechanical secondaries, you could be running with them slightly open on the road and sucking more fuel down. For a car you depend on as a daily driver, I don't think you would be happy with the fuel mileage.

I am running 373 gears in the rear. You are correct about the secondaries and he even did mention that so he is aware. Riding the fine line of daily driver, camper-hauling, grand-kid toting race car is not an easy task and I may be tilting a bit too much on the go-fast side?!?

Predator Carbs: only as much fuel as you need.

I fully understand the desire to see changes/improvements yielding lower et's but if the go fast is only 5% of the use time, I would lean more toward street manners and fuel mileage.
Especially camper towing. You KNOW you'll be into the secondaries more doing that.

I ended getting a QuickFuel SS-780-VS so I get the performance and the driveability I want.
