I have a couple driver quality bumpers in the shed that are nicer than the one currently on my car. What do you use for chrome/bumper cleaner? I want to clean one up and swap it onto the front of my car.

I use Turtle Wax's Chrome Polish. I also apply it with a buffing wheel on a drill. That seems to brighten it up more than hand applying it.

Get it to Chris's and the "crew" will help swap it out...
Spray some penetrating oil on the fasteners for a few days before hand.
If the replacement isn't on brackets, get new bumper bolts too. The old ones may not come off nicely.

Start by gently cleaning it using soapy water and a light touch with a Magic Eraser pad. It's like using 0000 steel wool.
