Hey guys, I just came across these Rear Quarters for my Elky and it seems like a really good deal. I have never seen rear quarters before, much less at only $100. Are these some chinese knock offs or what exactly does it look like I'd be getting. Unfortunately I just found them, and the sale ends tonight. Limited Quantities. Please be brutally honest Impulse buying is bad....
Do you need them? Your truck looks pretty awesome in the picture. If you get them, then you need to paint and if you're going to paint you may as well..............and I think that's how it starts.
But if I had the cash on hand and a place to store them I think I'd just tuck them away for a while.

Thanks Kevin, no I don't need them, but the wheel wells, and bottom of the quarter are pretty much gone. That's the thought, is if I get them now, I wouldn't start chopping until the time is right. I've seen everyone's snowball effect. Doesn't look pretty.

You may be able to use the lower wheel well area.
Please note: "no jambs or pinch welds"
Usually that means they are a cap to go over the existing panel. really a crude approach.
Doesn't mean they are impossible to use, just not a finished part.
They are NOT a replacement 1/4 panel.

I would do some searching to make sure they are going to work for you. The ones they used to make, the wheel opening isnt anywhere near correct.

They're repros and as Karl said, aren't going to be a good fit without major "tweaking". You could probably cut them up and use as patches for the rusted areas and that would be worth the price, BUT shipping is going to be another $150 for them.
When the time is getting close, call Denny at Auto City Classics and have him bring in a pair with a stock order and save the shipping.
No way would Eckler's be selling NOS quarters for a hundred bucks.

They're the first two listed on the page.
