I'm looking to buy an enclosed trailer in the next few months.
The main purpose for me will be to haul the Model T, which is only 12' long. I'd want to go at least 18' though to be able to haul any normal sized car. Only 6 more feet to 24' so, I can squeeze in 2 Model Ts.
Now I wonder if my truck would be sufficient for a trailer that big...

If you just bump it out to 30 ft you would have room for some bunks, shower and galley or a small workshop and tools. Your current truck will never have a better trade-in value.
There I go, spending your money.

...general consensus from others with similar trucks is that 24' should not be a problem.

Steve the guy you bought the car hoist from used to pull his 24' enclosed with his 1/2 ton eco boost ford. It did not seem to struggle at all, his was an aluminum trailer I don't know what you are looking at?

An aluminum trailer is not in the budget... weight isn't so much a concern to me but rather handling in either a crosswind or when passing or being passed by semis.
Load-leveler and sway-control are on the short list of must-haves.

He had both load leveler and sway control on his and never had any issues, So I would sure think you would be fine with your truck also.
