In my usual ebay search looking for parts for my Midget I found a couple interesting items this week...
First, if this midget was within 500 miles, I'd be bidding... why? I don't know, but I want it.
It's extremely rough, and missing anything of value, but I have a yard-art idea that it would be perfect for.
Second, this old sprint car is local... It was in the same junk yard that I bought my midget from. I passed on buying it at a little over half the price, but have often wondered if I should have picked it up when I had the chance.

I am so thankful for Derek.
Just when I think I'm nuts, or have crazy ideas about how to spend money, I see a post from him and I feel incredibly sane.
...and my marriage feels very secure, since my wife would totally lose it if I dragged home that rust pile and told her it was going to be 'yard art'...

Be thankful for Jenna....she's the one who puts up with his insanity and enables it...

What's all this talk about insanity? It all seems perfectly logical to me...

I think I may need this in the bar/game room above the shop... http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/clt/4886587106.html
Don't you need more parts for the '69 ...
Not much... just need to put the ones I have together. The radiator and driveshaft are the only somewhat-expensive parts I still need.
Well, there ya go.....buy a nice radiator instead. We'll have a "tech day" early summer and put that car together...
