Hmmm, something rear wheel drive? Or, maybe a retro 80's Audi Quatro with all wheel drive?
Seems like you have the green mary priced right. Heck, that LT1/4L60E (I'm guessing on the trans) are worth at least $500-750? It's almost tempting enough just to buy it for the engine/trans, and your LT1 knowledge to put it in a project car...

Ok... suspense over. Pulled the trigger on something I've wanted for awhile - a new truck. After #1 son bent my '99 F-150 a few years back, the 40 Watt has been lacking a serious hauler. The Green Mary filled the bill, but she's not a truck - and as capable as she is, 4-wheel drive and modern toys became more important (especially after being spoiled by Sheryl's Taurus!)
So, we've got his/n/hers metallic white vehicles in the 40 Watt. Gave up 2 cylinders for 2 turbochargers, but there's a NICE F-150 Platinum in the garage!

I miss my Caprice wagon every time I see one, but for similar reasons as your truck purchase, I'm not planning to go back anytime soon...
Nice truck... new or used?

I have truck envy now. Looks like you have a fair amount of room in the garage to be able to get around, how long is the truck?. So what was the JD treatment?

The truck is about 1' longer than the 'Mary, so still lotsa room...
It's a '13 Platinum with 30K rounds.
The "JD treatment" was adding the very few toys that Ford didn't bolt on... A grille on the lower bumper opening to guard the intercooler (Duh! $1k part that's open air), rear inner wheelhouses (duh2!! genuine Ford service parts, why not installed on the line!), and a few other items. This was a metro truck that never saw "truckness" - a suburban poser.
Still on the fence about the 2x turbo'd 3.5L V6 (trucks should have V8's), but the little bugger is impressive! 6-speed auto behind it, with programmable lockout of gears for towing situations, and a locking rear diff. Also has a "Quattro-esque" 4wd mode that auto-balances between 2wd/rear and full 4wd as needed.
Got a new ride and need to make room.

Also the B-body Impala SS wheels & tires

Spread the word...

It's supposed to be above freezing on Saturday so you are going to risk getting your new baby dirty!
John, I just saw this ad via Bangshift's website. Is it too late to back out of the truck purchase and get this car instead?

If I was going to get into another wagon with big-azz wheels, I'd get a soft-top/convertible!!
