As a kid and young adult, I listened to these guys on the radio. Most of the time, it was while in the car driving somewhere, but occasionally it would be while out in the garage too. most often, it was these guys and Paul Brand we would listen to, then if we were still driving it was a trivia show called "What do you know".
Click and Clack were also characters in the movie cars as the Rusty and Dusty, the Rust-Eze guys.
Used to listen to them all the time when I worked in the field. We would usually nail the answer to the callers problem before she either finished trying to explain it, or before Click and Clack would give their answer. Accept for the occasional weird make and model that's not as common on the streets. RIP, I just heard this on the way home tonight as well and was supprised, I had no idea he was sick. Havent listened since I changed careers and have weekends off.

Click & Clack.. the tappet brothers. (If anyone nowadays knows what a "tappet" is!)
