Seems like the price of the car for $1600 is worth it just for the LT1 engine/trans? It does have 171K miles, but a freshening of the internals and a 4L60E seems worth it?

I still miss mine, but I'm not really interested in keeping up a ~20-year-old daily driver in this climate.

The "Green Mary" is still going strong, but is losing weight annually... rust... but she's only got 92K turns on her.
I'm really liking the "wood delete" of the Caprice, and Roadies were available this way, but very few and far between. If I could find a wood-delete car with under a 100K and nice, I'd think about it.
