Went one year when we lived in Nebraska, and it was awesome to see 100+ Chevelles, Malibu's, and Elky's all in one place. Maybe next year...

We went last year for the first time in probably 5 years, it was good. I have a lot of friends in that club so was nice to see them. It is the same weekend of the Route 66 show in Springfield Il and we are going back to it. That one is one of our favorites of the non Chevelle only shows. Run by and like the Car Craft show, but much more relaxed as they shut down about 16 sq blocks of their old downtown and set up a couple of stages with great live music and about 2500 cars. Our hotel is right on the show grounds so no early rising getting in line stuff.. Always a good time, but you really can't miss in KC, hopefully the weather is better this year as it rained all weekend last year.

We went in '07 when it was still held in the heat of August... Jenna was pregnant with Cale, and quite uncomfortable but we still really enjoyed the show.
I had the front suspension all apart on the Chevelle at the time, and back-ordered ATS spindles came in the day before we left. I scrambled to get it all together and discovered after assembling most of it that I needed 1/2" wheel spacers to get my wheels to clear the new C5 vette calipers, which I couldn't get quickly enough to get it assembled, aligned, and roadworthy in time for the show.
We drove Jenna's Bonneville down, and drove Dan's convertible home because our alternator died. We put the Bonneville on Dan's trailer at some Wal Mart parking lot along the way.
Fun times with great friends.

Found a link from the show, and thought some of you might like seeing the Chevelledom that was there:
Another year gone by and didn't make plans for this one again...

Dan W.-I thought this was one was yours for a second, and thought you forgot to tell us! Then realized it's a '65.
Then I thought Jim L. was there:
My car is a 65 Stan. In fact that is my car...From last year. Don't remember the sun shining for very long, somebody was quick with the camera.
We were in Springfield for the weekend with the 71 (Stan, That is Dave and Jaci Dietze's t-bird next to my Chevelle )
