What I'll probably do is part out whatever good 1910 parts I can save, and rebuild the thing into a lawn ornament using common 1920s parts that I already have laying around.
The driveshaft housing is worth what I paid for the whole thing.

Cool find. I keep driving by this thing. 1973 Volvo sport wagon that's begging for a LS swap. Good thing I don't have the room or money for a new project.

Gotta say Steve... that would be a pretty cool swap, and that engine bay looks like it could swallow an LS without any problem.
At first glance, I love it. I like the front and side look, but the tail is horrid. Needs as little end gate with shorter glass (nomad-like) and I'd tolerate it.

That's funny... Back in 1984, a Volvo coupe like this parked outside the audio shop I worked at since we had some snooty customers that could afford Mark Levinson turn tables, Bang & Olufsen, Klipsch, etc., and I left the store to get something to drink, walked back in, and before looking around I said to our sales guy... "That's the fugliest car I've ever seen!", then turned around and the customer was killing me with his stare.
Oh well, I was only 21 and still driving an orange '72 Monte Carlo with air shocks and slotted rims with N60's on the back thinking that was cool, so that tells you where my car appreciation level was at that time of my life. And yes... I had a mini-mullet.

There was a guy that had a restored bright orange wagon like that who used to work in the same office complex I did. I really started to appreciate it over time but then I've always been a wagon fan.

I got 2 pieces of rail 15' long.
The kids were mad that I didn't get enough to go from the house to the shooting backstop.

... My first thought was somebody stretched at pinto, but after driving by for the last month it kind of grew on me. 
"That is a damn ugly car... I'd keep walking if I saw it for $1000."...
